Look Back in Anger - M.C.Q (Mock Test - 02)

Mock Test - 02

Look Back in Anger is undoubtedly an autobiographical piece based on Osborne's unhappy marriage to actress Pamela Lane and their life in the Derby's stylish abode. It was written in 17 days in a deck chair at the Moore Cambe Pier. While Osborne was interested in a career in theater, Lane was more practical and materialistic. It will also draw from Osborne’s previous life; For example, the stage-free speech to witness the death of a loved one was a replay of the death of his father, Thomas.

The most memorable of these is Jimmy Tired. Some of these are directed against the British middle-class smuggling that has generalized to the nuclear-northern world. Directed in contrast to many female characters, Osborne has a distinct echo of dissatisfaction with women, including his mother, Nellie Beatrice, whom he describes in his autobiography A Better Class of Person as "hypocrisy, self-exploitation, calculation and indifference." [Madeline of Lost Love for Jimmy Pinn is Stubb Linden, the old rap-company actress who first encouraged Osborne to write. After his first production in London, Osborne began a relationship with Mary Weir, who played Allison; He divorced his first wife (five years old) Pamela Lane in 1957 to marry Ure.
