2nd strain or Second Wave

Second wave or second strain of coronavirus is coming up with fear in our minds.  Not only in the West, but all over the world, there have been calls from governments to prepare for the second wave. Is the second wave of Corona really waiting for us? What is the second wave? It’s preparation - or how it should be?

A total of three waves of the Spanish flu were seen in the first half of the nineteenth century. The second wave of corona is more deadly than the first wave. In this situation, we should not sit idly by. Scientists do not know everything about COVID-19 yet. Over time it will weaken or become stronger. Meanwhile, the number of corona cases is increasing all over the world.  Europe is once again thinking of a severe lockdown. Corona infection has multiplied in India and most of the countries in the world.  Scientists are also undecided on whether to identify it as the second wave of the corona. 

Day by day, the crowd is growing. As a result the infection will increase up front. This is the running state of the second wave or the first wave. When the rate of infection decreases or stagnates and rises again, it is called a second wave. Has our infection rate decreased at all? Another question is, are all those who are being infected or have symptoms coming under the sample test? So is it difficult for us to say here that it is the second wave or the first wave? 

It should be kept in mind that various types of flu, pneumonia and respiratory infections increase in winter. To stay confined in a room in winter leads to problems in patients with asthma or bronchitis. Every year our hospital is full of patients suffering from various diseases of the lungs, infections, fever and cough. Therefore, it is conceivable that other lung infections including COVID -19 will increase in winter. 

COVID -19 but started last winter, the virus has been rampant in China for the winter. Then earlier this year Europe and America also saw its complex form. The researchers also said that any virus prefers cool and dry weather. In winter, people tend to stay indoors, resulting in higher aerosol spread. The death rate from lung infections in adults and children is the highest in the world in winter. This year, a large number of newborns could not complete all the vaccinations in time due to lockdown and epilepsy. This is the situation all over the world. So this winter, it is expected that a large number of children will be infected with pneumonia, whooping cough, measles, mumps, etc. So we have a fear of winter in our minds. Because, the corona-infection is yet to be controlled, nor has its vaccination been fully completed.
