Ball Point Pen
How is a ball point pen prepared?
Pens are used every day in schools, colleges, offices, courts, shops. Therefore, there is a demand for pens in the market throughout the year. Ball pens can be made at very low cost with the help of machines. We can sell these pens in different stores, with the order of a company and also in the name of our own company.
Method:
First you have to collect pen making materials from the market. The raw materials for making pens are refill tubes, ink, nib pen lids, and pen making machines. Various machines to prepare pens handy include vibrator machines, nodal machines, ink refilling machines and more.
Let's come to know how we will make this pen?
First, we have to buy cheap refill tubes, ink, and nib from the market. We can make 1000 pens with 1000 refill tubes, 1000 nibs and 1 kg of ink.
It takes a total of five machines to make a pen. Two machines for guarding the refill face, vibrator machine, nodal machine and ink refilling machine.
The refills that have been bought from the market first need to be fitted with refill guards with the help of refill guard machines. Then the nib of the pen has to be put in the refills with the help of nodal machine. The next turn is to fill the refills with ink. This has to be done with the ink refilling machine. The filled refills are then shaken with a vibrator machine for two minutes so that the ink inside the refills becomes smooth for writing. In this way, when all the procedures are completed, we can supply the market by writing the name of the company on the pen.
History behind the invention of ‘Ball Pen’
How was the ball point pen invented?
The evolution of the pen is very interesting and historical. One thing that makes human writing almost impossible is the groundbreaking invention of the pen, the ball pen. In the beginning it was engraved. Then the circulation is ink. But the ink used then was also very difficult. The first usable ink discovered in China is not dry. As a result, the writers got into trouble.
In the late twentieth century, tannery expert J. J. Loud developed a special type of pen. He puts a vortex on the nib of the pen, which keeps spinning while writing and the ink comes out. But the world did not give value to his invention.
About 50 years later, two Hungarian brothers, Biro and George appeared with almost the same technology. At that time the environment was being prepared for the Second World War. As a result, they left the country before marketing their invented ballpoint pens. They fled to Argentina, a reputable country of the Latin American. Patents are available there and the Biro brothers allowed licenses to sell the technology to the famous French businessman Beck at an extra price.
That’s all, that's the beginning. And the two members no longer had to look back at the world of the pen. But, do you know? Ball point pens are still known as 'Biro' pens in England!
