Diwali, the festival of lights

Diwali, the festival of lights, is one of the most important and widely celebrated festivals in India. During Diwali, homes are decorated with lights, oil lamps, and rangoli designs. People exchange gifts and sweets, and families and friends gather for feasts and fireworks displays.
